Hi, I’m Molly! I’m a writer, Pilates teacher, KonMari Consultant and run my own skincare business with Rodan and Fields. I started my career as a modern dancer in New York City in the mid-90’s which means I was also a waitress and artist model. I started Tarrylife as a place to share stories and remind GenX women to press pause and live the good life. Here’s two posts about what the word Tarry and Tarrylife mean.

I grew up in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles and graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs. After living in New York for fourteen years, I returned home to California where I met my husband, Alan and had my two darling children, Shepard and Philippa. We live in Venice.

I’m obsessed with Generation X, tiny house living, decluttering KonMari style and navigating life in America as an introvert. I love riding my bike and taking public transportation instead of driving. I love being a mom, staying fit and cooking from scratch.

My goal is to live a simple life surrounded by few but treasured possessions and find contentment through experiences not things. Love, true friendships, laughter, great food and wine, books, travel and art are most important to me. Get in touch anytime at molly@tarrylife.com and thank you so much for reading!
